God's Protective Path

Proverbs 2:8

“For He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.”

Maybe there are some of you who are up at this very hour in the night wondering why you are where you are at in your life right now. Maybe it’s a relationship struggle that’s on your mind, maybe you're struggling with your work situation, or maybe you're going through the toughest battle you've ever been through in your life, spiritually or physically.

Let me be the first to encourage you, PRESS ON! God has great plans for you. Don't let Satan rob you of the joy that God has filled you with! We can find great peace in knowing that God is in control of all the situations going on in our lives. Our biggest issue comes when we try to figure these ways out on our own and we try to control situations only God can handle. We must understand that God’s path for our life is greater than our own.

I love the truth that is spoken in this Proverb where it says that God protects the way of His faithful ones. Let’s ask a question, how faithful have you been to God? God is faithful to protect our path when we are faithful to Him. Now the root word that comes from the word faithful is faith! We have to faith in God when these situations rise up in our lives that He will protect us and guide us in His direction.

So whatever is running through your mind tonight, you need to know that God is setting you on His path which is greater than ours. Have faith that He will take you where He needs you so that you may have a Godly impact on someone’s life. So to my friend who is struggling, our God is a mover of mountains. I’ve seen Him do it before and I know i’ll see Him do it again. So whatever mountain you are facing tonight know this, our struggles are meant to strengthen us. God is guiding our way and with His guidance comes His protection. Press on Christian solider, God is not only protecting your path, He’s also perfecting your path!
